When our residents get together, a sense of community is born. Recreation, BBQ’s, Game Nights, and just backyard chats are all a part of community life.
What are we doing that is new in our community?
Introducing Committees!
Moving forward, the Board wants to include you all in the event and project planning. Join a committee for a short time or a long time. It’s completely up to you.
Here are a couple of the things happening in the near future that you can participate in:
Beautification of the Park - Possible ways you can help: clean up, planting flowers, setting up new benches
Comfortable use of the Common Areas - Possibilities: low floating decks or prepared gravel spaces for benches and tables
Community BBQ’s - Possibilities: contribute food, help with grilling, plan some party games
Game Nights - Possibilities: host in your home, use the office room and table
Beautification! The Board is looking at cleaning up some unsightly areas, areas that could be a lot more usable. If you don’t mind light, or even heavy, yard work, you might want to join this committee. More info will follow on these plans soon.
We’ll focus on Common Areas for Gathering! We all have relatively small yards for social gatherings, but even without a community building we’d like to be able to gather. This is the first target of our Fund Raising Money. Benches placed strategically, perhaps utilizing some Easy-ups or tables with umbrellas would be great. If planning these changes appeals to you, you might want to join this committee.
Right now is a great time to start planning our first spring BBQ. Would you like to make this idea become a reality? There will be a committee for this!
What about Game Nights? Do you have a social space in your home? Maybe one that suits even 4-6 people? You can connect with others who like the same idea. There will be a committee for that!
